Robert,
Read this one:
http://cleantechnica.com/2013/08/14/iowa-will-add-1-06gw-new-wind-energy-capacity-by-2015/
It is a real world example that refutes what you are saying. Wind is reducing the cost of electricity in Iowa. They were so unhappy with 20% of their electricity coming from wind that they apparently now have 25%. They are so unhappy with this they are working to build more. The latst being the articles subject. If I remember correctly, they have a republican congressional rep who is pro-wind.

It's an insidious plot by the fat algore to steal your precious gold and manhood Robert.

Would you like to engage in constructive conversation about how we best get off fossil fuels or would you like to go elsewhere?

Why has the cost for power gone up and up since the introduction of

Renewables; would it be not logic that the cost should it least remain the same or go down? I don't understand.

".. the federal Coalition, which has agreed to force another review of the RET to investigate those claims." The Coalition is currently the opposition in Canberra, not the government. They can only cut back the RET if they win the September election against Rudd's Labour and the Greens - probable but not a sure thing. One Aussie betting site gives the odds at 5:1. Rudd is a more skilled politician than Abbott and he's not Julia Gillard, so he has a chance to hold on.
