Again, 33 cents seems high to me.

How did you arrive at 33 cents being the correct figure?

What needs to be done to end sexism & racism is to create 22 million new solar jobs by passing a Feed in Tariff in each city, to require Utilities to pay home owners $0.33 kwh for harvesting solar. Germany is now the greenest place on earth.

You are calling for a very high, probably unnecessarily high, FiT.

Utility scale solar in the US is now being installed and sold for around $0.10/kWh. That’s a zero subsidy price.

Installed rooftop solar at $3/watt minus the 30% federal subsidy in Ca would produce electricity at 8 to 10 cents per kWh. A 23 to 25 cents per kWh is a big profit. Locking it in for 20 years wouldn’t be nice for the cost of electricity.

Perhaps set it high, but cut it off after the owner has received half/whatever portion of their costs.

Gov. Jerry Brown is not serious. If he was he would be advocating for a Feed in Tariff that pays home owners $0.33 kwh for feeding solar onto the grid.
That is how foggy Germany, which he lauds, is rapidly advancing to becoming 35% solar & wind powered by 2020.
While he was at the Intra Solar Conf., he failed to listen to any of the speakers who were explaining why cloudy Germany was going to become the first 100% solar powered nation on earth.
Brown is such an embarrassment. He can’t walk the walk.

Governor Jerry Brown, do the math. You can’t shut down coal by going slow. We need to have a totally open application so even a farmer, with 10 acres, can install 1,000 panels and start feeding solar onto the grid.

We need to push for LA to become 100% solar by 2050.

To get there, we need to get serious. This is war. We need every person who wants to join this campaign to be able to buy 20 panels today and feed their energy into the grid, so they can keep adding 20 panels every year until that have a mini-Utility.

This is a great investment opportunity. Germany is going to be at 35% solar by 2020. LA has 10X more solar than Germany.

We could be at 50% solar by 2020 if you were serious. I guess we need a major melt down at a nuke before you will wake up. Whoops! We just had one, again, at Fukushima.
