		<description><![CDATA[If I had a few million dollars to play with I would develop a diesel &quot;limpet&quot; range extender for EVs.  Something that could be rented for long trips.  Pick one up at the beginning of your drive day(s) and drop it off close to your destination.


Make it one or two wheeled with a two point hitch to the EV.  Make the wheels carry the weight.  And make them self-steering,  using info from the vehicle so that backup up with limpet attached would be identical to regular backing up.  (Add a backup camera and alert system.)


We could stop making ICEVs immediately.


But not having those assets I suppose I&#039;ll wait with everyone else for better batteries....]]></description>
