		<description><![CDATA[Yes, apparently if conservatives get voted in carbon dioxide will stop being a greenhouse gas and so we can burn as much coal as we like and won&#039;t need a carbon price or a renewable energy target.  Personally I don&#039;t think the world works like that and so I&#039;m a bit concerned.  I just hope they don&#039;t get voted in.  Or if they do get voted in Tony Abbott immediately retires to work in a shelter for smuggled budgies and Malcolm Turnbull immediately takes over, as he actually understands basic science.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[A lot hinges on the next Australian federal election.  Not that any political party can make wind and solar go away, but they can still do a lot of damage.  Personally I&#039;d rather have a Prime Minister that considers climate change to be a serious problem than one who does not.
