Scrap battery…replace with hugemultiple capacitors and a transformer….almost instantaneous recharge in pit….would probably make it a lighter car as well

The name ZEOD Rc stands for Zero Emission on Demand Racing Car, which means there will be electric motors working together with an internal combustion engine. and the prototype is said to be able to go faster than 300 km/h with electric technology - making it the 'world's fastest electric Rc Car'.

The Le Mans 24 hours is a tough race that puts a lot of pressure on the car and driver. If they are able to create an electric car that competes just as well as non-electric it could totally change racing.

i tried to find such info in CA this week. got nowhere. and the CA DMV site doesn’t even have a contact email or contact form. i passed on calling them, since i figured i wouldn’t get any further. if you know of where such info could be found, would love to hear/see.

I’d love to see a break down of registrations in some of the leading counties. Here in Marin, CA I’m guessing that we are almost 20% hybrids or electrics. Prius has long replaced BMW as basic wheels and Tesla is working on Mercedes.

I imagine the same way internal combustion engine cars do it. By stopping to take on more energy, either through battery swapping or very fast charging. Using a serial hybrid setup would be another option.
