Frankly, I've never understood how people could consider the Fisker Karma "sexy." The adjective I would use is "Gangly." It always reminded me of Ann Coulter. And flamingos. It's too long, too stretched, too disproportionate. And the front end is a travesty.

The Tesla S? THAT is a dead sexy car.

If the author works in motorsports, surely they are aware of Bob Lutz (a preeminent car guy in the auto industry)? Bob Lutz was the main proponent within GM that pushed for the Volt. If you like cars, you should check out his latest book. As a man who likes fast cars (and fast jets/helicopters), it comes as no surprise that he wants to soup up the Fisker and take advantage of the bodies that are just lying around, apparently without a drivetrain.

this article seems to villianize Bob Lutz... I watched Revenge of the Electric Car and Bob Lutz was a combustion engine enthusiast that loves the electric car and in his case during the filming the Volt... fisker is making a terrible car and wont be able pay off their debt costing tax payers millions... bob lutz is buying the bodies (that would just sit there and not sell) and putting high performance parts in them and actually selling them... we should probably take into account how energy intensive and the emissions that come from that when transforming steel into the shape of a car as well... if we already have the frames why not use them? it reduces the future need of that process instead of just throwin em out... how about tesla though? great car great company paid off their debt and working towards more affordable practical electric cars... its nice to have an American car company that doesn't owe tax payers money
