I’m pretty sure it will be capable of rapid charging. That said, here in Australia I could be quite happy with an electric car that never used anything other than a normal power socket. A small electric car can easily get over 10 kilometers range from an hour’s charging here (provided it is built to accept European standard current) and on average we drive our cars about 40 kilometers a day. (Note that households that have more cars than driver’s licences tend to bump those figures down a little.)
