That is a death spiral for fossil fuel plant operators, so it’s more like a life spiral if you happen to be a carbon based lifeform.

Already approved 3.1GW, then hope to add 2.2 GWs in 15 years? Surely one of those numbers is off. One of the nice things about solar is it goes in faster than a new coal (8-10 years) or new nuclear(10-20-?? years).
