We ship rare earth dirt to China for processing as refining the metals here just isn&#039;t profitable.  (And speaking of profits, I don&#039;t think the Department of Energy&#039;s $120 is going to go very far.  I think you&#039;d have to spend at least twice that to get any results.)]]></description>
