All said and done I hope the President does this again if neccessary. The recent advance in 1 Minute Bio Oil is bound to make a HUGE difference in production and refining time as well as efficiency if some simple CHP Technology is applied to a tandem production and refinery operation. Seasrch Science Daily for 1 minute bio oil or do a google search for this recent breakthrough. This coupled with the US Navy Office Of Research work on production of fuel from sea water with on board priducrion systems will certainly help to wean the DOD off of petroleum based fuels. Synfuels for aviation fuels would be a next logical step in a self reliant DOD fuel production and use strategy.
