Hi, I'm having trouble understanding two things:

First, the statement: "the entire process is occurring inside of bacteria that are only one centimetre long." *Only one cm? Wikipedia says the average bacterium is 2 micrometers long.

1cm is 0.01 meter.

2 micrometers is 0.000002 meter.

Second, the quote: "The ability to conduct an electric current gives cable bacteria such large benefits that it conquers much of the energy from decomposition processes in the seabed." Huh?
