		<description><![CDATA[I  think there are something like 900 panel manufacturers.  A large number could close and we&#039;d still have more than enough supply to keep the pipeline full and prices down.

Failure of a lot of companies is expected as technologies mature.  The ones who haven&#039;t been able to produce at the best prices run out of start-up money and close their doors.  The most efficient survive. The survivors compete with each other on quality and price, driving quality up and price down, and that works wonders for us consumers.

If you go back and look at the history of the US computer business over 150 companies, some of them big names, died as we went along.]]></description>
