Green roofs could save money, and create jobs. Imagine if all big box stores, and warehouses had green roofs. Not only would their landscaper take care of the grounds, they could also harvest veggies and fruits from the roof. We would be a much more sustainable society with the addition of locally grown food at least part of the year. Imagine leaving work, and stopping by the food bin to pick up veggies for dinner.
