A test site outside of Tuscon didn&#039;t wash panels for more than a year and when washed performance went up only 1%.  Many large arrays are never washed except by the rain.

But sometimes they do need a good cleaning.  At my previous residence I had to clean mine during the blackberry season.  For some reasons the birds liked to take a rest stop on the panels.]]></description>
