It can. But often there is no problem.

A test site outside of Tuscon didn’t wash panels for more than a year and when washed performance went up only 1%. Many large arrays are never washed except by the rain.

But sometimes they do need a good cleaning. At my previous residence I had to clean mine during the blackberry season. For some reasons the birds liked to take a rest stop on the panels.

Does drit build up effect the power efficiency on my solar panels and do i loose out on power????

Nathan……..In want to be featured on CT too……my company is much lower in price, compared to them……if you’re really wanting to have the maximum amount of people buy solar…….you’ll be better served by having a little competition..so what do I have to do?…please contact me @ ftp@aol.com
