If you treat it a reality TV. He said “I support clean power” “I’m cutting wasteful programs” it great! It is only if you look close or think that there are issues. And who does that with reality TV.

Romney complains about the government picking winners and loosers.

Let’s see how well Romney and his solely-owned company Bain did….

Out of 77 companies in which they invested other people’s money, 33 either failed or produced no earnings. That, my friends, is a 43% failure rate.

Out of 77 companies in which Romney invested only 10 were really good investments. 70% of Bain’s earnings came from these 10 companies. And that, my friends, is only a 13% success rate.

Of course Romney/Bain made money from the failed companies as well. They stripped money out of those companies, money that should have gone to the people who actually put up the money. But that’s how vultures operate, grab parts of rotting caucus.

People, the crowd that Romney is pandering to isn’t going to listen to what you have to say. They are just going to repeat what he said as gospel to anyone that they can. Hopefully the people that are the swing voters have enough time and sense to actually investigate what he said and discern the truth. Pretty bold of the GOP to actually lie on National TV, but of course they don’t tell lies on Fox news.

What I don’t get is that in one part of the debate he says he’s in support of Clean Coal but then criticizes the program that funds it? Needs to be asked that question.

Romney did good theater. But the lies are already coming back to bite him.
I started paying attention to national elections when JFK was president. I have never seen someone running for the presidency lie like this guy does.
I expect candidates to make some promises that they probably can’t keep and to hedge their telling of stuff to make themselves look better, but I have never seen anyone tell one group of people one thing and another group exactly the opposite.

It might be the case that you could get away with that back before we had recording devices, but now everything is on the internet – forever.

Romney did a great job last night of winning the debate, except with those of us who are well read enough to know that most of what he said was not true.
