I could not agree more with Dan Steward on this issue of continued government funding of new energy related technologies. In the current technoligy development area this is the only option available to pioneers of costly R&D to fully develope any given energy related technology unless a billionare decides to bankroll such an endeavor personally; which is extremely rare.
