I recently bought a Passat TDI, am averaging 41 mpg and have a stylish and very, large vehicle that rides as well as my last 2 BMW’s. The prius rode like a low powered low budget car. I could not fit my 2 teenagers in the back so hands down the Prius does not deserve to be on the list.

I average over 51.2 miles per gallon I have put 280,000 + miles on it and its been trouble free and it still runs great! I How can you say the Camary is the best commuter car.
