If the Leaf doesn’t work out for Nissian, it is definitely working out for me! Including the cost of the lease, I am saving $500 / mo. on what I use to pay for gas! The savings are greater if you include, no oil changes and other maintenance associated with the internal combustion engine! Here’s my recommendation for Nissian: Sell the Leaf at or slightly below cost. You have an amazing product that needs exposure! Nothing creates buzz more than seeing these cars on the road! Also change the marketing to express the overall cost savings of owning a Leaf, i.e., fuel + maintenance! For other great ideas hit me on Facebook!

$500 a month? $6,000 a year? Pay off the difference between the Leaf and a gasmobile in 2-4 years?

Can you flesh things out a bit more? Savings as opposed to what? How many miles do you drive a month? That sort of info….

      And any bad experiences?
