Upcoming Solar & Clean Energy Webinars

Vote Solar, an awesome solar advocacy organization, consistently puts on some great solar and clean energy webinars. I just listened in on one last night focused on energy subsidies. The main take-home point on that one was very clear — even the “most comprehensive” energy subsidy evaluations out there leave out a ton of subsidies, and especially subsidies that benefit fossil fuel industries, unfortunately.

Here are a couple more upcoming Vote Solar webinars you might want to check out:

Much has been reported on the Recovery Act’s sweeping provisions for renewables, yet few truly understand this ambitious and controversial piece of legislation. Michael Grunwald, journalist and recent author of The NEW New Deal, will share his account of one of the most sweeping bills in U.S. history― how it happened, how it’s transforming our energy economy, and how it’s being distorted by the Washington fun house.

Raising awareness for solar is insanely important, and I’d like to reference the awesome job being done by arizona’s solar industry by making headway in this arena.

Solar energy will become the norm, I really believe that. But the time it will take to get there, and the opportunity cost our world will pay, is all dependent upon our ability to adopt this technology quickly.

    Keep it moving.
