Oh, i was thinking/referring to this year (if he had run).

I’m not convinced he has any real care for clean energy though — supported the pull out of RGGI and watered down the state’s clean energy targets.

I suspect not. Christie has too big an ego to fold to the Tea Party. He’d bluster his way through.

Besides, I’m betting that four years from now the game will be very different. That’s four more years of “hundred year” weather events, likely a melted Arctic Ocean, and even cheaper renewable energy.

We might even have affordable grid storage and cheaper EV batteries.

I’d bet money that he’d change 180 degrees on the national level. It’s essentially required, and I think the only reason he’s really behind solar in NJ is because it’s essentially an imperative now.
