Hey Amy,
I am also a very unhappy customer and am paying more than I was before the Echo solar system was put in. I'm hoping you just might see this reply so we can talk about these issues. Sun Edison who bough Echo has not been very responsive to rectifying the issues.

Informative article. I must admit here that without
technology we would not have been in that much advance and intelligent world.
Certainly Solar electric system combined with Echo solar system would be more
convenient and beneficial for home owners. Who would not like to install it and
yes, leasing and outright purchasing are the options available. It depends on
you whether you would like to but the complete system with onetime payment or
would pay it in parts. Thanks Zachary for sharing good
information.

Wow. Not cool. (No pun intended.)

Out of curiosity, when did you buy it? And what region are you in?

Echo Solar doesn't live up to the promise. We have it on our new home, and so far every month there is ZERO energy produced for heating & cooling, all is for "electricity" so what they're saying above is absolutely false. It works just like every other system, and not even as well. Their thermostats are terrible. Proprietary, so you can't use any other thermostat, and horrible (they just don't work correctly). I have mine currently set to 62 degrees because the house is unbelievably HOT, and it doesn't even try to cool below 75. There it sits, at 75, and won't budge. I would NOT spend this money again if I had it to do over again!
