Dear Andrew,
I have heard that electricty from privately onwed solar panels injected in the grid (of Iberdrola) has to be payed for, instead off getting money from Iberdrola. Is that true? If so, it would seriously slow down the sales of panels....Regards, Marc

"Spain still relies on volatile, increasingly expensive and polluting fossil fuels for around 80% of its power needs"

Assuming 'power needs' is electricity (as opposed to primary energy), this number is wrong. Over the past 12 monts, Spain got 32% from renewable energy, 24% nuclear and 44% from fossil fuels.
