Feel good fluff but little practical substance. With the low energy density of batteries and the cost of these cars I don't see them as a practical long term solution to our daily mounting problems related to energy production and use. Mileage limits make electrical vehicles impractical for anything but short distance driving and as long as coal, natural gas and nuclear provide to currant they are "not so green" either. I see hybrid diesel-electric vehicles as much better alternatives providing the diesel is derived from algae as a carbon neutral fuel. Keep you eyes pealed for VW's Cross Coupe in a few years.
