yeah, i know. don’t think many people realize how fragile our agricultural systems are… or that many are already approaching collapse.

When the telemarketers call, I sometimes inquire about conditions in India’s economy. Although India’s hi tech is doing well, I worry about an imminent collapse in their agriculture. Temperatures there are at the upper limit of what crops can endure and the next Climate Change uptick will destroy the harvest. Although solar is a wise investment almost everywhere, I hope these particular investments give consideration to what regions are likely to be depopulated by drought and crop failure.
