A V2G system is being tried close by in Denmark...

"Nuvve registers vehicles with its service and then co-ordinates their charging and discharging of electricity according to a combination of the driver's needs and the electricity company's requirements. Suitably equipped vehicles can be asked to discharge energy back to the grid when the electricity company needs it, such as at times of peak demand.

The technology can also be used for frequency regulation, balancing the frequency of delivered electricity as short-term demand varies.

In addition, the service can be used for load balancing, storing surplus energy from volatile renewable sources such as wind power, which can otherwise be forced to shut down if wind farms generate too much energy for the grid at a particular time."

Norway may be slow to develop V2G systems as most of their electricity is from hydro. Since hydro is so dispatchable there's not much need to store electricity from other sources.

I'd expect V2G to spring up first in countries with a high percentage of wind input.

Yep, and it will be interesting to see if they set up a vehicle to grid energy storage system with these electric cars. Of course I'm sure Norway doesn't have the peaky type of grid we have here in Australia, so it might not be a huge priority for them.
