This is a business idea I am developing as well. Renewable energy bonds bought by people in the community and used to fund the most economical and high capital technologies such as heat recovery or solar air heating. Rate of returns would be around ~5%. I am looking at a pilot project here in Prince George, BC. Just starting things now and lining up a pilot project.

Very cool. Personally, I’m looking forward to the hyperfunding.com launch, as they apparently will NOT be charging fees for companies looking to sell equity. Sounds much better than wall street!
