The sheer scale of such a turbine baffles me – 6MW is massive, and I the best thing is it isn’t even the biggest around, at 7.58MW.. The last photo looking down the inside of a half-blade is absolutely spectacular. Surely there must be some structural limit to how big these behemoths can get?
