The demand for this car can’t be big. The only thing special the original car had going for it was the movie, and a love it or hate it style. It wasn’t a performer or anything, and there’s not the same mystique surrounding it as some of the dead muscle cars, like the Chevelle. Plus the pricetag alone makes it largely unaffordable for everyone but the 1%, as I think it would be tough for this to be a primary car for anyone with a familiy.
