Hey Zach,
Without a doubt “energy efficiency” is the lowest hanging of all the fruit on the energy tree. While it can’t solve the energy problem by itself it can add some “squiggle room” which would ease some of the pressure (a pressure that, sadly, our ‘leaders’ don’t seem to get)

That being said, I’m sure that if this building practice was widely adopted we could be well on our way to a better day.

Yeah, I think energy efficiency, with what we have now, could use a lot more investment. Have seen the case made that it should be our #1 priority.

I’ve often wondered if we wouldn’t be better off in the short term investing in energy effienct technologies that are already out there instead of dumping lots of money into some technologies that may not even make it commercialized. This seems like a good example of what I’m talking about.
