Not sure where you get that last line. A ton of non-rich families are going solar these days. Generally, folks MAKE money on solar in the long run. And for those who can’t buy a system for some reason, there’s now leasing with as low as $0 up front — and still savings in the long term. It’s more than affordable — it’s a money-maker.

I wish there wasn’t such a ‘wait’ and long ‘trial’ period, before putting things in the market. Solar power is the way to go, but seriously its too expensive, for anyone but the rich.
