Unfortunately this is not unexpected as it simply demonstrates a widespread public ignorance and indifference in an anglo-saxon society obsessed with short-term returns.
I understand the Germans have a much longer-term approach?
It would be instructive to know what effect efficiency investment has on resale values in assorted locations.
