EnerDel (aka Ener1) got hit with some big troubles recently as a company it was heavily invested in and reliant on (Th!ink Global) recently went bust. Result: bankruptcy. But, over on Gas2, Chris looks into this story in a little more detail and also notes that EnerDel’s customaers appear to be sticking by its side and hopeful that it will be back on its feet soon. First of all, your observations about the GOP routing against the President are no surprise, this is how politics works in the US. When Bush was in office and we had a 4% unemployment rate, the Dems couldn’t say often enough how the economy stunk.

As far as Capitalism goes, bankruptcy is perfectly acceptable, although I would be concerned with a company that was invested in another company that has gone bankrupt 3 times.

It’s not exactly about routing against Obama. It’s about making your #1 priority removing him from office (rather than helping the country), and about spreading lie after lie after lie rather than competing in an honest way with him.

I read an article on another website last week about this bankruptcy, and I initially thought it was going to be terrible news, but as they, and you have reported, it is not all bad. Even though hearing a company go bankrupt is not a particularly pleasant thing to be made aware of, there are often silver linings, and I think there are plenty of those for Ener1. I hope they pull through this, and I am sure they will with the support of their staff and customers.

Yeah, I just saw a headline on it, and was dreading the manipulated propaganda on some sites, but first thing I’ve run across since then is this nice piece by Gas2 — good perspective.
