Do you mean plant more fruit trees so we can deplete out dwindling aquifers even faster from the irrigation it will require? The near food shortages you mention will be better addressed with growing protein than it will with fruit.

Could we find a better use for those trees?? Besides, we need to plant more fruit trees to counter the near food shortages about to nanifest themselves.
Why not reproduce Mr Tesla’s Power Tower to provide electricity for the whole world and charge us an economic monthly flat fee??? I mean worldwide, industry and homes.
