Hey Rich,

Some in the northeast have gone the FIT route. Generally, though, there's broad support for solar and a growing industry that I think can muster the influence needed to get some good policies in place. But I'm not just talking about the U.S. for FITs -- this is growing in popularity around the world and each success seems to encourage another country or two to implement such policies. On the PACE front, I know there have been some pushes to revive it or get it going in a different way, and I've seen hope lately that we'll get it back. We'll see.

That said, as mentioned above, there's still a rich fossil fuel industry fighting solar, and I think that will increase, and every state will not be a solar leader.

Hi Zach, thanks for this.
I would sure like to see an increase in PACE and Feed-In-Tariff legislation and utilization, but based on what I've seen here in Minnesota, I'm a little skeptical. State governments (ours anyway) seem hesitant to openly promote anything that looks like it involves participation in markets, despite the growth in PV manufacturing happening here. Are other states sensing opportunity here where we are not? Or are utility companies in other states promoting legislation in these areas?
What's the basis for your prediction that these areas will pick up? Just curious.
