Luxury Hydrogen Fuel Cell Boat Drinks Sea Water, Gets Electricity

Well, it may not be for everyone (not in my price range!), but this 250,000-Euro (~$325,000) eco-friendly luxury boat is pretty cool and worth a share. Full repost from sister site Gas2 below:

” claims that a generator produces 50,000 volts of electricity right from the water itself”

Does no one screen this stuff?

This piece so much does not pass the smell test that it deserves a special award.

Some guy has invented a boat that can run off of nothing but sea water?

Let’s raise the bar here, boys. Don’t turn this site into Crackpots R US.

Where will one get the initial energy to extract the hydrogen from the sea water? This is like chicken and egg.

You can generate power from the rocking motion of the boat. Think of self-winding watches.
