		<description><![CDATA[Change... Finally, something has been done to reduce the release of mercury and other pollutants from power plants around the United States. 

Although the exact cost is ambiguous, the strain pollutants place on the Medicare system is enormous. 

It&#039;s unbelievable how hard companies have fought to prevent this bill from passing. Sure, each power plant will incur a several million dollar expense for pollution abatement technology however, they generate billions of dollars in revenue. Not a big deal. 

The long-term benefit to society these standards will provide is remarkable. 
I&#039;m glad someone on Capital Hill is thinking about our future. ]]></description>
