And own vs. lease leaves out the residual value of the owned system when/if the house is sold. We’ve seen data that shows installed solar raises house selling price more than the cost of the system.

$4.40/watt is great news. But it’s still a long way from Germany’s $3.50/watt and that price is based on last year’s panel prices. What’s it going to take to bring US prices below $4?
