    About a half century ago one of these was my only motorized form of transportation. Certainly didn’t have laptops, but it did get around just fine with me, a girlfriend and a couple bags of groceries.

    One night it was stolen and we jumped in a friend’s car, spotted it zooming around campus with three large guys aboard.

    So I’d say, yes, they can carry your load.
