There are a few errors in this story. The most relevant error is the statement that South Korea completed its first wind farm in June of this year (22 MW). The first commercial scale wind projects in Korea were completed in 2004; Gangwon Wind (98 MW) and Youngduk Wind (39.6 MW). Apart from that, Korea has a number of other wind farms including foreign investors like Eurus Energy and Acciona.

Good to know that South Korea will build the biggest offshore wind farm in the world( 2.5 gigawatt (GW) . Taiwan ,France and China have also ambitious plants to go for offshore wind farms besides US.
