I remain a champion of methane gas from Anaerobic manure/humanure, offal digestions because: We can easily bottle it in existing "propane tanks" for very long times without losses. Exotic technologies needed to store and use H2 frighten me off. The loss of the O2 robs energy? Methane on the other hand, burns in common mantles for light, propane stoves, and can even run current designed gasoline engines with current methane carburetors. (even your gasoline rotor tiller, water pump, or generator) Crosley 'IcyBalls can be heated with methane in a pinch, but Solar arrays of Fresnel lenses will serve best for refrigeration.

Google: "Crosley Icyball" and
draw your own conclusions.

Can we build a "cold cellar"
using a Fresnel lens array, and a Crosley Icyball?
There is a future in America after the Cheap Oil Era, once the radioactive wastes from that unsustainable extravagance are cleaned up. I hope.

Could be the discovery of the century, but we'll have to wait to see if it scales.

If it does it might make more sense to ship salt to the interior of continents than to ship finished hydrogen.

I'll like to see someone do some large scale projections. Using fast food grease for biodiesel works at the lab level, but it doesn't scale as a replacement for petroleum.
