There are some pretty exciting technological advancements taking shape on the world’s waterways these days, from “carbon neutral” megayachts to solar-sail cargo ships, it seems like the oceans are filled with people who are embracing their environmental responsibility.

Some go further than “not making a mess”, however, and take it upon themselves to clean up the messes other people leave behind! One such person is famed naval architect Vince Callebaut, who designed the 260-ft Physalia superyacht, a river-going luco liner that actually improves the quality of the waters it travels.
