This is an excellent example of how solar energy is progressing in becoming more main stream. Natural energy won't last for ever and the United States is beginning to realize that, which is why we are becoming more reliant on solar energy. We are seeing solar energy pop more and more into the news due to the different companies that are switching over to using it since it's cleaner and makes companies more sustainable. Research has shown that solar energy will be the main source of energy for many crucial aspects of life within the next 5 to 10 years and that is why we are seeing a greater number of companies, such as Google, invest in it. Solar energy is a step in the right direction since global warming has become a real issue within the last few years. The US needs to continue to use solar energy in intelligent ways such as this one to preserve our planet and the people living in it.
