Beautiful, Zach.

Something about infographics make the data so much more loveable.

None of us really want to give up our technical creature comforts, but most of us already have the sense that it's wrecking serious havoc.

Have you run across any good info on refrigerator defrost cycles/usage?

I'm off the grid and once in a while I'll check my system meter and think something wrong. Turns out that the refer was doing its anti-frost thing. Seems to pull a lot of power for a signficiant amount of time. Something that could easily tolerate being part of the off-peak/response demand solution.

I've found 400 watts, up to a half hour a day on line, but don't know how accurate is.

BTW, my Energy Star18 cu.ft. 'off the storeroom floor' refer uses less than 1kW per day, about 0.04kW per hours.
