		<description><![CDATA[I believe that Admiral Hyman Rickover proposed that a quasi military professional organization be created to run US nuclear power plants when they were first being considered back in the 1950&#039;s.  The argument was that power generation and the construction and operation of nuclear power plants was too important and potentially too dangerous to be left to the competitive marketplace.  Too bad nobody took him up on it.]]></description>
