Japan isn’t a tiny island nation, it’s the size of California, with 180 MILLION people. Your report would imply that it’s some tiny island with a few sheep and a nuclear plant that’s melting down.

It’s only a single word, and yet it conveys a lot about the author’s actual knowledge of Japan.
