Construction began in 2008, so I don’t think the ARRA provided much incentive for this. Though I suppose FPL was happy to get the money.

Even as a Canadian I am aware that the Florida Governor was a Tea Party candidate and therefore would not credit the U.S. federal gov’t for providing the incentive or the work of the previous governor that brought the clean power to Florida.

I am really glad and grateful that some corporations are continuing to pursue renewable energy & green technology despite of shortsightedness of others.

So now Cleantech has something good to say about the Governor of Florida and his recognition of clean power. But you all hate him (at least Zach) because he has backed out of the high speed rail line?? Or am I wrong.
