The REAL question is:  Does the DOE, NREL, Oakridge or DARPA really want to get the US off of foreign oil or do they want to continue funding grants to keep algae researchers employed at universities for ANOTHER 50 YEARS?  Algae has been reserached for over 50 years and not one algae researchers has commercialized anything.  This is taxpayer money.]]></description>
