The US military has made it very clear that they view climate change a serious threat for our country’s future. For that reason they are working to make themselves as free from fossil fuel use a possible.

If they can cut their energy use by collecting rainwater that’s a good thing.

If they can provide solutions for others that is also a good thing. It’s generally much cheaper to avoid a war than to fight one. If the US military helps with the development of clean tech that could help reduce future resource stress which could lead to conflict.

this is about military intervention in HAWAI, but i want to ask you about why these soldiers doing this ? their fundamental aim to be soldier is protecting their country right, why they do this ? because they do not need again as a soldier? or there is net zero vision for national security ?
