Good question. Germany has had incentives that dwarf ours perhaps that has encouraged investment there.

It’s really great for renewable energy and California, but it’s too bad it took a German company to do that…
Where are the American solar companies??
Brightsource’s Ivanpah plant doesn’t even come close with a capacity of 392MW, compared to 1,000 MV for Solar Millennium’s Blythe plant.
