Last night I attended a talk by Paul Gipe, author of Wind Energy Basics, 2e: A Guide to Home- and Community-Scale Wind-Energy Systems, and he stated that it had taken the U.S. 30 years to install 1250 MW of wind generated electrical power and this year Italy, Spain or Germany would be installing 6000 MW.]]></description>
